I'm Brittany Khandoker, a certified Life Coach with Canada Coach Academy and an ICF candidate.
Before I ever coached anyone else through stress, I lived it. I built a career while juggling the pressures that come with it - deadlines, office politics, the mental load of trying to do everything right. Then life added more: building a family, and eventually, becoming the person my aging parents leaned on.
The moment that changed everything happened while I was pregnant with my second child. I got the call that my mother had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. In that instant, I understood something I'd never fully grasped before: the stress flooding my body - the fear, the grief, the constant state of alert - wasn't just something I was feeling. It was something my body was producing, and it was reaching my unborn son too.
That realization changed how I saw stress forever. It wasn't just "in my head." It was physiological, and it was contagious to the people I loved most.
So I committed to finding tools that could reset my state - quickly, and for real. Not journaling someday, not "just breathe" advice, but techniques that actually shifted my physiology in the moment. It worked. I carried a full-term, healthy baby boy while caring for my mother through cancer and my 15 month old daughter, proof to myself that regulating your nervous system isn't just a nice idea - it's protective.
Then came the next round of lessons - learning how to show up as the mother and caregiver I wanted to be, without losing myself in the process. That experience changed the direction of my life entirely: I got certified in coaching and launched my own practice, so I could help others do what I'd learned to do for myself.
I bring all of it into my coaching now - the brain science, the lived experience, and the tools that actually work when life doesn't slow down for you. Because I know firsthand: you can't think your way out of stress. You have to work with your body, not against it.
My mission is to help you regulate your nervous system, protect your peace, and take back control - no matter how full your plate is.
